Caused by:
com.sas.analytics.crm.error.client.ApplicationException: Required DAV folder
doesn't exist:Customer Intelligence

You access the tools or channels in the plug-in as follows:

  • Application Resources ► Diagram Tools
  • Administration Resources ► Channels

This issue only happens in the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating environment. The problem occurs when the setup.exe file for the SAS® Deployment Wizard is not run with the property Run as administrator. Even if you are the administrator of the machine, you need to right-click the setup.exe file and select this property.

To solve the problem, you must run manually the manualLoadContent.bat script file as an Administrator, which creates the required DAV folder. The script file is located in SAS\plan-filename\Lev1\Web\Utilities. Once you locate the script file, right-click it and select Run as administrator from the menu that appears.

After you have run the script file successfully, verify that the DAV folder Customer Intelligence was created in in the SAS® Content Server, as follows:

  1. Start the SAS Web Administration Console from the following URL:
  2. http://machine-name:7001/SASAdmin
  3. Log on to the administration console with the user name sasadm@saspw.
  4. Select SAS Web Administration Console ► SAS Content Server, and log on to the content server with the user name sastrust@saspw.
  5. Select the folder sasdav and verify that the folder Customer Intelligence is available in sasdav.
